Don’t miss this last opportunity to bask in the memories or confront the demons (perhaps a little of both?) from the years you spent at George Mason High School!
In the event you have not heard, the school (which some knew as George Mason Junior-Senior High School) is slated for demolition later this year, after the new state-of-the-art replacement school currently under construction is ready to be occupied. Attending the first day of the All School Class Reunion (Saturday, June 20) will give you the chance to not only walk the halls of the old school (and the additions done over the years) but also the chance to take a “hard hat” tour of the new school.
Additional details, to include class reunions planned for Friday, June 19 and information on the All Class Picnic scheduled for Cherry Hill Park (aka Gages) on Sunday, June 21 can be found at https://sites.google.com/fccps.org/gmaa/home. (It currently requires a Google login and we are working to have that requirement removed.) While there, register to attend. There is no cost to register, nor are you required to register. The committee is just trying to get an idea of how many will be in attendance.
Times will be posted as soon as they are known.
Don’t risk looking back in the future and wishing you had one last look at your alma mater. Start making plans today to visit in June!
