SunTrust Bank: SunTrust Bank is offering $100.00 to Gaither Band for every checking account opened up prior to December 31st 2008. In addition, you must use the check card for a purchase prior to February 15th 2009. After you have made your initial purchase, you must complete and submit a redemption form (by February 15th 2009). At that time you choose which charity (Gaither Band) you wish the $100.00 to go to. Anyone, anywhere, can open up an account with SunTrust. It does not have to be in Tampa. So Aunt Mabel in Tallahassee can open one up as well as little Jimmy going to college in Miami and the $100.00 can go to the Gaither Band.

Nutrition Smart Helps GHSMB
Nutrition Smart: located at 14847 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. (Michael’s Shopping Center), will donate 10% of the purchases made in the name of the school on the 4th Saturday and Sunday of each month. Please mention Gaither HS Band at check out.

Fundraiser with Chick-Fil-A
Chick-Fil-A: The 2nd Tuesday of every month, the Chick-Fil-A at 16200 North Dale Mabry will donate a percentage of the sales to the band. The time frame is from 4-10pm. Mention that your order is to support Gaither HS Marching Band or print out the flyer at the band website and hand that in with your payment. Go to www.Gaitherband.org , click on boosters, then click on fundraising, and click on the Chick-Fil-A flyer link. What an easy way to help support the Band program.

Band Concert and Silent Auc.
It’s Silent Auction Time Again!! October 14
Mark your calendar and make plans to attend the Gaither High School Band silent auction to be held on October 14th at the Gaither High School Fall Concert.
The Auction starts at 6 PM and the concert at 7 PM
This is your chance to get some nice items up for bid and support your High School Band Program all at the same time. All proceeds from the auction will go to the band and Starettes, to help defray the cost of instruments, uniforms, travel expenses and supplies. We hope to raise at least $3000 from this event.
Plan to attend the free concert and the auction, bring a friend, and bring your checkbook!
