FKHS Class of 1985:
We have finalized our plans for our 36 Year Reunion and registration is officially open. The reunion is scheduled for October 1-3, 2021 at Fort Knox, KY. The cost for registration is 75.00 per person. Below is a final agenda with a breakdown of activities as well as what your registration fee will pay for:
Thursday, September 30, 2021:
Early Arrival/Hotel Check-in – Holiday Inn Express Newgarden Inn or Holiday Inn Express Wickam Inn, Fort Knox - Hotel check-in is at 4:00 p.m.
School Visit/Football Practice – Fort Knox High School
Dinner/After Dinner Social - TBD
Friday, October 1, 2021:
Arrival/Hotel Check-in - Holiday Inn Express Newgarden Inn or Holiday Inn Express Wickam Inn, Fort Knox – Hotel check-in is at 4:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Reunion Registration - Holiday Inn at Newgarden, Fort Knox
5:00 p.m. – Dinner Sam Adams Brewhouse, Fort Knox
7:30 p.m. – Fort Knox versus Jenkins (Homecoming) – McAdams Field, Fort Knox High School (football ticket included in registration fee)
9:30 p.m. – After Game Social – TBD
Saturday, October 2, 2021:
12:00 p.m. - Class Picnic - TBD (picnic included in registration fee)
6:00 p.m. – Dinner/Dance – Fiddlers’ Green at Saber and Quill, Fort Knox (dinner/dance included in registration fee)
12:00 a.m. – After Dinner Social - TBD
Sunday, October 3, 2021:
10:00 a.m. – Brunch – The Grill at Lindsey Golf Course, Fort Knox (brunch included in registration fee)
1:00 p.m. – Departures
We will be utilizing two hotels for the reunion:

The two hotels are within a five minute drive of each other. The Holiday Inn Newgarden Inn will serve as Reunion Headquarters. The Holiday Inn Newgarden Inn offers standard one bed rooms while the Holiday Inn Wickam Inn offers standard rooms with two beds and two bed suites. The cost for a standard one bed or two bed room is 85.00 a night plus tax. The two bed suites go for 95.00 a night plus tax. You can reserve a room at this rate at either location by calling 502-943-1000 Extension 0. A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation. Let the hotel staff know you are calling to reserve a room in the Class of 85/36 Year Reunion block for the nights of October 1st and October 2nd. For anyone who is coming early, just let them know you are a part of the block, but you will be checking in on September 30th instead of October 1st. The block of rooms will be held until September 6th and if you have to cancel a reservation for any reason you will receive a full refund as long is the cancellation is made 24 hours prior to your arrival date. Check-in on September 30th or October 1st is at 4:00 p.m. Check-out on October 3rd is at 11:00 a.m.
Since lodging as well as the majority of our activities are going to be on post, everyone should take advantage of the new Five Day Fast Pass that will allow you easy access on and off of the base throughout the course of your stay during the reunion.
