About DUBITSKY RANDOLPH J. December 17, 2011. Age 61. Beloved husband of Amy McCarthy for 34 years. Devoted and loving father to Warren (Mary) and Eric. Survived by older brother James (Margaret). Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Anne. Also survived by many other family members and friends. His remains were donated to the Wayne State University Medical School. Mr. Dubitsky graduated from Dearborn Fordson High School in 1968, from Michigan State University in 1972, and from the University of Detroit Law School in 1980. He served for 30 years at the Wayne County Friend of the Court, first as an investigator and later as a staff attorney and special assistant prosecuting attorney. After a short retirement in 2003, he joined the Advanced Technology Academy charter school as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel. He leaves behind a rich legacy of devoted public service, loyalty to his friends and deep love for his family. Godspeed RJ, until we meet again. A private memorial service will be held. The family will receive guests publicly at the Dearborn Hills Golf Course Clubhouse (1300 S. Telegraph, Dearborn) from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 22.
