Dear Friends: After a busy weekend with five events over 3 days at the nearby Devon Horse Show for my daughter Kristen, she earned a 4th place finish on Saturday in the over 35 category at the oldest continuous horse show in the USA (see picture below)---featuring horses from all over the world. We are still over the moon. It's her youngest, most inexperienced of her 3 horses, so we're excited for the future also, although you never know what the future holds (just like in Masters swimming). We were also proud of the fact that she's one of very few in the top 26 who has a full-time job (neurosurgery) and her horse was not one of the 18-19 in her category that were originally "million-dollar" horses. By the way in the Hunter category--two judges looking at every move--I prefer the stop watch ! My wife Debbie helped us celebrate in our friend's viewing box with jello "shots" and a champagne toast after her event. Be safe and stay well. BOB
