Class of 1951
Just thought I would share my story to someone who might recognize me from way back.
I moved to Birmingham just after I graduated, I worked several jobs and did week end
announcing at WKUL in Cullman. I organized The Jubilaires Quarter and they had a early morning show on Channel 13 in B'ham. I did several stints at different radio stations in the
60' and 70's. I married a Birmingham girl in 1955, and we have been together ever since. Have one daughter who worked in television at Fox 6 as night news director. She also
co-shared a Sunday morning Southern Gospel radio program on WERC in B'ham. I started my own business in Broadcast equipment in 1967, and retired from it in 05. My clients included major TV networks as well as hundreds of local stations around the country
as well as international clients. Have traveled my foreign countries. God has blessed my family and I give Him all credit and Glory. Would love to hear from any classmates from 1951.
