About	Chemistry Tackett, Elby L age 87 of Fairborn, passed away Sunday July 20, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born February 26, 1927 in Pike Co, KY. Elby served his country in the US Army during WWII and earned his Bachelor of Science degree of EKU. A lifelong educator until the age of 82, he retired from Fairmont West High School, and continued his love of teaching at Sinclair Community College and Hillel Academy. He graciously served his Lord for over 50 years at Grace Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Lois in 2002. He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Mary Louise; two children, Gary (Suzi) of Fairborn and Judi (John) Swallows of Vandalia. Funeral services will be July 24, 2014 at 2 in Grace Baptist Church in Fairborn. Interment will follow in the Valley View Memorial Gardens.
