About	Physical Education/Health SCHWAB, Diana L. Reichert 71, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 8TH, 2013 as the result of an auto accident. Diana was born on April 28, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry A. "Tim" Schwab, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Carey (Michael) Ker; granddaughter Chelsea Ker; sister, Jan Zwiren, sister Justine Reichert. Diana graduated from The Ohio State University in 1964 with a BA degree in education. She went on to earn her Master's Degree in Education from Miami University. She spent 27 years as a teacher and coach in the Kettering City school system. Her list of accomplishments includes winning 14 City Women's Amateur Golf Championships, medaling in the first USGA National Women's Public Links Championship, finishing as runner-up in the second USGA National Women's Public Links Championship, and twice winning the Women's Ohio State Golf Assoc Championship. Schwab in 1982 was elected to Dayton Amateur Golf Hall of Fame. She also started the Dayton District Women's Golf Association in 1991 and was instrumental in founding the Ohio Women's Golf Association in 1979. She was a member of the Ohio High School Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame and the Fairborn Schools Hall of Honor. In March, 2002 she was recognized as a state legend by Golfweek magazine.
