About	English Lit and Comp, Adolescent in Lit VEIGEL-BIRT, Janet S. Age 69, of Dayton, passed away Nov 26, 2016. Janet was born to the late John and Irene (Decker) Veigel. She is survived by her husband, James E. Birt, three stepchildren, brother Michael of Hawaii, and extended family. Janet graduated from Wright State Univ and taught English/Speech and Drama at Fairmont High. She was a member of the Dayton Theatre Guild for many years, where she acted, directed, and donated. She traveled widely, enjoying plays, musicals, and many friends. Raised Catholic, she treasured her relatives and friends of the Lithuanian community of Old North Dayton. Janet donated her body to Wright State Medical School, hoping she will benefit others
