| About Me | I am a first-year doctoral candidate at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am the former Executive Director for the West Communities YMCA - YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. I had been with the Y since 1998 holding other positions such as Administrative Assistant and Operations Coordinator. I love the Y and the work it does. I attended Libby Elementary and Gershwin Elementary schools. I graduated from Englewood High School in 1989. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in management and human resources from Robert Morris University. I am happy as a clam. I have been married to Cliemel Jr. for 11 years. I have one biological son, Cliemel III (7), one adoptive son, Donta D. Martin (22), one adoptive daughter, Toni Smith-Brown (25), and three beautiful grandchildren, Tamya (8), Donovan (5), and Trenton (3). I enjoy good gospel quartet singing. I have been singing lead for the Lane Gospel Singers for 26 years. I play drums and fiddle around with keyboard. I love cookies and caramel cake, yum!
