Service description
Trained for something other than what I eventually became, which was a door gunner/crew chief on Huey's with Americal Division in Chu Lai, near the DMZ. Served in F Troop 8th Air Cav, D Troop 1st Squadron, 1st Air Cav. Did 2 LRRP's & some other lousy grunt work, but mainly flew Nighthawk missions the last 4 months I was there...LOW ship naturally. I'm happy to decipher the above abbreviations if the reader and myself are ever fortunate enough to have contact of some sort...
