Hi my name Is Darlene (Davis)Johnson
I am writing this letter to tell you why I picked My best friend Carol Parker as the Distinguished Alumni. I met my best friend carol in our freshmen year in 1981
we were both in the lunch room we had not met but that day I remember so well. she was sitting buy herself and I walked right over to her and said hello my name is Darlene would you like to sit with me and she said yes. And since then we have been inseparable. I thank god all most every day sense that day I met her.. Carol was always a very hard worker. Did everything on her own. lost both of her parents at a young age.I am so happy to know Carol to say I have been best friends with her sense 1981 how can anybody say that they are still best friends with someone for 31 years.she also owns two businesses and works more then 70 hours a week. I always say in my mind I don't know how she dose it .She works two businesses takes care of her kids she raised both of her kids by herself with no help from anyone. if I was asked who I looked up to in my life. It would be Carol Parker. She has always been there for me no matter what.. that is why I think Carol Parker is a very distinguished Person she is a great mother great businesses owner and the best friend anyone could every ask for .I don't just say she is my best friend in my eyes she is my sister also..
