About	Henry "Lee" DeRamus Lee (affectionately known as "Lemus"), age 76, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. He was a resident of Amite, LA. Lee was a hard worker who dedicated 44 years to what is now known as AT&T before retiring. He was an old soul who appreciated so many vintage and antique things. From British cars, radios and telephones, guns, knives, and Harleys, Lee enjoyed learning and collecting as much as he could. He was a true history buff and took the time to dive deep into his hobbies. Lee was a very giving man and was always up for a good conversation or finding a good book to get in to and to travel when possible. He enjoyed participating in the British car club, spending weekends at estate sales with his wife, and exploring antique shops, but his biggest passion of all was his family. Lee was most happy surrounded by those he loved and never missed an opportunity to spoil his grandkids and fur-babies. He was quite a remarkable man that left his family with a lifetime of memories. He will be deeply and forever missed. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Charlotte Vest DeRamus; daughters, Jennifer Winburn (Chris), Melissa Picou (Jim); son, Brandon DeRamus; grandchildren, Hannah Winburn Lloyd (Tyler), Cade Winburn; great-granddaughter, Juliette Lloyd; and his fur-babies, Bella Boo, Wally Bug, and Arlo. Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Audrey and Henry DeRamus; and sisters, Marian Buchanan Lacher and Audrey Mae Buchanan Cannon. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 1190 Hwy 51 North Ponchatoula, LA 70454 on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow in Rose Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Hospital New Orleans, Heart Center Support Fund in honor of Juliette Lloyd.
