Saturday Aug 18th at East Detroit high, we are having "Camp Shamrock", a pitching and hitting camp for all aspiring incoming freshman and at large ballplayers wishing to enhance their skills. My name is Jim Brandon, EDHS V baseball coach, I am working on a fundraiser for the baseball program here at East Detroit high. As you may or may not know, we are rebuilding our baseball program and making it worthy of East Detroits long and storied history and to help put our athletes on "equal ground" with other programs(better equipment). I am looking for any and all possible participants for a shot gun start (4man teams) golf outing for July 29 ($80). Just a note to let you know that East Detroit Shamrock baseball is gearing up and gettin ready to take on the MAC Silver div !!
The boys have been in conditioning for about a month and it is hard to keep down their enthusiasm. Mine either!,
We are having a fundraiser on the 20th of March @ Cloverleaf restaurant on Gratiot from 4 to 9pm as we are in need of new equipment. The Mhsaa has outlawed all aluminum baseball bats so you know where that leaves the cupboard,...bare...and the jv needs new pants and etc...etc... So we encourage you come and help support your favorite team, THE SHAMROCKS!!.
There will be a hourly 50-50 drawing and a raffle at 9 pm. gifts to the program from various local business supporters, so come on and get behind the 2012 Shamrocks!! See ya There.

Marching Band 2008
I am an EDHS 1975 alumni and my youngest son is a Freshman in the EDHS Marching Band (and loving it). I am happy to announce that
EDHS Marching Band has received a #1 at the 2008 Band Festival, under the direction of the new Band director Mr. Boell. EDHS has always been known for it's great band and it is a pleasure to say this is has not changed. Keep up the good work Mr. Boell and EDHS Marching Band. We have a lot of proud parents out there.
