About	After graduation, he moved to Des Moines, IA and worked for Hy-Line. He was drafted into the Army in 1964 and served in Vietnam from 1965 to 1967. After an honorable discharge, he returned to Des Moines and worked for Patzig Laboratories and then Nabisco Food Products.
Events	He moved to Eau Claire in 1975 as part of a work transfer and continued to work for Nabisco until 1997. He then went to work at Badger West Wine and Spirits as a sales representative where he remained employed until his death.
