I talked to Ricky at the 50th reunion, and told him all the high school girls were secretly in love with him. Actually, I think everybody was in love with Ricky--as soon as he stepped out on that stage, opened his mouth and that gorgeous voice filled the room. To know he is gone is hard to accept. We all miss you, Ricky. My heartfelt sympathies go to Ricky's family.

Ricky was my leading man in both South Pacific and Showboat under the tutelage of Mrs.Evelyn Still, our beloved and extraordinary choir, chorale and musical director. Ricky was an extremely gifted natural singer with a beautiful voice and was a lovely person. We had many, many fun and wonderful musical moments together. I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family.
