Lauren Frost, born as Lauren Allison Frost on May 25, 1985 in Downers Grove, Illinois, is an accomplished American actress and singer. She began her enlightening journey toward the world of entertainment at Downers Grove South High School, Illinois, until she moved to California to further pursue her dreams.

Frost shot to fame with the recurring role of Ruby Mendel in the Disney Channel Original Series Even Stevens, a character she reprised in the follow-up Disney Channel Original Movie, The Even Stevens Movie. Along with her successful acting career, Frost is also an acclaimed singer-songwriter, having performed nationally and internationally with the celebrated singer, Barbra Streisand, on Streisand's Timeless concert tours. She particularly shone by portraying and singing as "Young Barbra" in the live concerts, the Emmy-winning Fox TV Special, and the Grammy-nominated CD recordings.

Apart from her roles on the Disney Channel, Frost starred as Casey Collins in a TV series called Web Girl. She also showed her musical prowess by singing "On the Way to Becoming Me" at the American Film Institute's Tribute to Barbra Streisand.
