Our 70th Birthday Bash Picnic at Vasona Lake is right around the corner, Saturday, September 7th., 11:00 am -6:00 pm. This is your party! There is no cost to you or your guest, except for the $6.00 parking fee.
EVITE RESPONSES
Well we are certainly more than excited about seeing the 58 people who responded as attending our BD Picnic Bash. You are making this happen!
What we “really” need our people who responded to the Evite as a “MAYBE” is to make a decision if they are going to be attending or not. We know everyone is busy with lots going on in their lives and sometimes (maybe due to this age thing) we are slower at making a decision.
There are 20 “Maybes” so far which could be a higher count since most replied as 1 guest. If you are bringing a guest, you need to reply as 2 guests. We can’t assume you will be attending or not attending so we need a definite decision. After all, if we assume you are all coming and it’s a no show that is a lot of extra food which goes side by side with expense.
We have to give the caterers a reasonable head count two weeks prior. SO Please change your Evite responses by Friday August 23rd if you will be attending with the correct amount of guests or not attending.
REMINDER
Don’t forget to bring what you want to drink (bottled water will be available), there are many picnic tables but bring beach chairs if you want and appetizers to share if you so desire.
This is going to just be another fun relaxing time to reminisce and make new memories for all attending. Again, it’s YOUR PARTY!

On behalf of your reunion committee, this is “your” 70th Birthday gift. There is no charge for you and a guest except for parking, which is $6.00 per car. The event is at the Lakeview Site at Vasona Lake Park.
Invitations will be sent only through Evite via emails addresses that we have on record. Please respond by August 17, 2019 if you and a guest will be attending as we need a predictable head count for the caterers. Adults Only. The BBQ is being catered by The Art of BBQ being served from 2:00-3:30. BYO beer, wine and/or soft drinks. Bottled Water will be available. Appetizers and munchies always welcomed. Although picnic tables are available to us, you may want to bring your beach chairs. Assorted games will be happening.
