About	Ruth was well known in the Deer Creek area for many things. She was instrumental in starting several things namely the DC band boosters, the DC phone book, and she helped start the DC Farm and Barn Tour. She was a proud parent of 4 graduates of Deer Creek. Mom lost her couragous battle with brain cancer on October 8th 2010. Her passing was her ultimate gift to her family. She has allowed us to carry on knowing that her job as "Mother" was complete. She will always be missed.
