Well, the response from the “Feeler Letter” wasn’t bad. It was also not great, as I always hope to at least hear back from everyone. Not one came back returned to sender so that tells me I have a pretty good address list.
Anyway, the date for our reunion will be Saturday July 30th. We, I say we, because Diana Hawbaker has graciously offered to help out when/where I need it. Diana has also jumped in with being on the Dallas Center Fall Festival Committee so she will be a busy lady.
Back on track here. WE, decided on July 30th for a variety of reasons. The restaurant/bar The Longest Yard, formerly The Harvest Moon, has had staffing issues at times. They struggled big time at last year’s Fall Festival. And any date in June we felt just would not be enough notice, mostly because I kinda lagged behind getting going on this. There were other considerations, but you get the gist of it.
The reunion will still be held on the restaurant side of The Longest Yard in Dallas Center. The K I S S [keep it simple stupid] method will be used again. If you wish to eat, you may order from the menu and, of course, there will be a cash bar.
Hey! Come celebrate with former classmates & old friends. Our class has gotten together almost every 5 years. I believe we missed a 15, 25, & 35. Our 20 was by far the best attended yet. Our 40th wasn’t far behind. Personally from me to all of you that have not, could not for whatever reason have never attended, or have not been to one for years… PLEASE try to come. I would very much enjoy seeing you again!
