Service for Robert Waldo Hendershott, 38, will be at 11 a.m. today at Sherman Funeral Home Chapel in Newport, Washington. Burial will follow at Newport Cemetery.
Mr. Hendershott died Wednesday in a logging accident near Usk, Washington.
Born in Newport, he graduated from Cusick High School in 1967. He worked five years in construction and in oil fields at Evanston, Wyoming, and was employed by Jim Akre Logging Co. in the Newport area.
Survivors include three sons, Brian, Terry and Rusty Hendershott of Priest River, Idaho; one daughter, Bobbi Hendershott of Usk; his parents, Waldo and Pearl Hendershott of Usk; one brother, Thomas Hendershott of Usk; and two sisters, Kathleen Sample and Sandra Kaler, both of Usk.
