About	Michael W. Truka, 49, formerly of Lincoln, died June 16, 2012 after an almost three year battle with esophageal cancer. Mike lived a strong and courageous life before and after his diagnosis, inspiring many to be at their best and live life to its fullest. Survivors include Kim Truka, his wife of 25 years; daughters, Ann E. and Madeline M. Truka. Mike was the caring son to Shirley (and the late Milo "Mike") Truka. Beloved grandson to Hilda (and the late William) Sukovaty. Dear brother to Rhonda (and the late Rick) Hupka, Linda (Lewis) Buresh and Mitchell (Joni) Truka. Caring son-in-law to Jaynene (and the late Paul) Gates. Brother-in-law to Christopher Gates, our dear uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 601 Claymont Dr., Ballwin, Mo.
