About	Class of 1968, Kay (Young) Hunt, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and Aunt passed away on February 13, 2024, in Glendale, Arizona. She was born on July 30, 1950, in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Kenneth and Natalie Young. Kay moved to Arizona in 1956 after living most of her first 6 years in Europe with her mother and Grandparents at whatever duty station her beloved Grandparents were assigned. She graduated from Cortez High School in 1968 and attended the University of Arizona after which she worked as a legal secretary for the law firm of Lewis and Roca for many years. Kay led a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication and went on to touch the lives of all who knew her both through her church and her quilting business. Her warm smile and kind heart endeared her to many. In her journey through life, Kay cherished the importance of family. She is survived by her loving husband Edwin Hunt, her devoted sister, Karen Thomson (William), her son Shawn Wagner, her daughters Stephanie Bruso (Brian) and Emily Beaman (Matt), multiple nieces and nephews including Brian Jacobosky (Karri) and Courtney Camelin, and her six adoring grandchildren. Kay’s passion for life extended to everything she did. Her commitment to her family and friends knew no bounds, and she always had a listening ear and comforting words for those in need. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
Events	Graveside services will be Friday, March 8, 2024, at West Resthaven Cemetery at 1:00 pm, 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. A reception will follow at Palmcroft Church, 15825 N. 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ. 85053.
