Jackie Polvadore

Class of 1971

I didn’t graduate. Myself and a close friend were kicked out for fighting. We weren’t fighting but running from a knife fight. The door to the rest room hit Mrs. Anderson knocking her down. Next to the snack bar across from the covered snack area. They thought we broke her hip when it only turned out to be bruised. My friend went to school in Casa Grande and didn’t like it and joined the Army. Myself I was going evenings at CAC to get a trade job. The recruiter spelled my name wrong and I was inducted into the Marine Corps. I didn’t like the trade school but I really didn’t like the Marine Corps. Because in 1971 I was in South Vietnam. Staying until 1972 spending 18 months in Indonesia. And another five and a half months in Cambodia. Coming back to US and then going overseas to Europe flying around as a temporary Ski Marshall. Five months later back to Us as a cross country chaser for three months then to the Pentagon as a driver for a three star General going around the world again checking on training excises. Then back to Camp Pendleton for my last year as Platoon Sergeant. Inducted for two yrs and extension for two more. After military back to college at Pittsburgh Pa. for lab attendant for PPG Industries . 25 yrs and one day. Resigned and leased Truck for trucking. Ten yrs. And then the jungle caught up to me. Seems I had a deadly toxic chemical was being sprayed on us at 100% because water was to much trouble to run back and forth carrying water so the Air Force sprayed 100% but it didn’t matter because they had plenty of the poison barrels of spray. So much that they buried hundreds of barrels unused during pullout. 100% toxic chemical Parkinson’s and blinded in right eye for life because a VA doctor did have a patient doctor conference pryer to eye surgery. Causing him to drown me and blind me. Laying on my back any fluids going down my throat goes into my lungs. They had me on my back for one hour /half with every bit of the fluids from the eye surgery going through my nasal passage into my lungs. And the Parkinson’s jerking around my neck and head being Unstrapped. They call me one eyed Jack now. SEMPER FIDELIS I LIVE BY GOD’S GRACEFULNESS which is a wonderful life. I wish we could all get together again soon. I might drive across Texas and bring old Donnie B. Smith out there with me. God’s Blessings upon all of you . Big Jake
