About	Gary’s. Bogart, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, KS. He was born on August 12, 1943, in Concordia, KS, to Joseph S. And Cecilia B. (Hubert) Bogart. Gary graduated from Concordia Catholic High School in 1961. He married Marilyn J. Mother on November 27, 1965, in Concordia, KS. Gary worked for the Concordia Police Department before entering the US army and serving during the Vietnam conflict. Upon his return from active duty, he went back to work for the police department and later worked for 35 years for Aquila Electric until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, American Legion Post #76, past member of Moose Lodge #1428 and VFW Post #58. He enjoyed hunting, bow hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, Concordia; daughters Diane Morrisette (Dan), Concordia, and Annette Beaumont (Randy), Assaria; sisters Alice Lowell (Fred), Kansas City, MO, Carol Thomason, Gallup, NM, and Sheryl Tice (Leland), Mankato; brother David Bogart (Linda), Concordia; grandchildren Jake Morrisette (Charissa), Farmington, NM, Anna Morrisette, Hutchinson, and Allie and Amber Beaumont, Assaria; his best friend Jim “Red” Lanoue, Concordia, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Donald and James Bogart. Funeral services were held 10:30 AM, Friday, January 22, 2016, at Chaput Buoy Funeral Home with the Rev. David Redmond officiating. Burial with Military Honors by Ft. Riley & American Legion Post #76 at St. Concordia emoters. Visitation was held from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with family greeting friends from 5-7 PM Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the funeral home.
