in 1985 she started a business in tennessee called" Tennesse chow chow relish" ( it's a southern thing) using a recipe from her mother viola davis, she and her family make sell and distribte canned goods to local stores and in several states. it comes in three flavors mild , hot, and extra hot. she later branched out to include pickled beets and bread and butter pickles. . she is a very proud past clearspring alumni. she in the last few years branched out even futher and opened a resturant calling it "grannys" it to has proven to be successful. last may she received the honor of citizen of the year in the town she now lives in. Also she has received best home cooking awards for her resturant, many recipes are from her upbringing in big pool. she is showing the south a new way of cooking. above all of this she caters as well. and has time for her husband, 5 children and her 6 grandchildren,and 3 great grandchildren
