About Me President of Upperline Entertainment, Actor/Producer Wayne Douglas Morgan has performed extensively in film and television since 2004. In addition to acting in such films as "The Dukes of Hazzard", "Deja Vu", "Blonde Ambition", "Labou", and "The Open Road", this native of Eugene, Oregon has also worked in just about every job description on a film set including Casting Director, Locations Manager, Assistant Director, Producer and more. He has worked as a stuntman as well as a Bodyguard (Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and many other celebrities). A resident of New Orleans, Louisiana since 2003, Wayne's first film as producer was the well-received Independent Film "Hood Life", starring Shoney Carter, about the tough streets of New Orleans. In 2007, Wayne teamed up with entertainment attorney Murray Roth and together they formed the production company, Upperline Entertainment, which is dedicated to creating full-length independent feature films. Wayne is also actively involved in the burgeoning Louisiana film industry as the Director of the non-profit organization, Louisiana Produces, which promotes the production of film and television shows in Louisiana. In addition to producing Stanley DeBrock, Wayne and Upperline Entertainment are busy producing "The Exile", "Honey Island", "The Plantation", "The Black Ghost" and the highly anticipated "Jena 6" Story. Wayne's greatest role to date is that of Single Father to three beautiful Actresses and one Actor. In addition to working in the Film Industry, Wayne is also a Federal Law Enforcement Investigator with over 20 years of Federal Service. A few interesting facts: Wayne enlisted in the Navy right out of high school and eventually received a Secretary of the Navy nomination and Presidential appointment to attend the United States Naval Academy (Class of 1998). Wayne is a Service Connected Disabled Veteran serving his 4th elected term as the Secretary of the US Naval Academy Alumni Association for the Louisiana Chapter.
