About	I recall a wonderful date with Wendy, her laughing and jokes had me smiling for hours. She complimented my "barely running" red IMP car. When I stupidly ran out of gas, she happily helped push it to the gas station on Racetrack road. Her heart was filled with kindness. (Wes Blizzard, 68) Millaway, Wendy M. 72, of Land O’ Lakes passed away September 15th, 2021 after a short battle with acute myeloid leukemia. Her stepdaughter, Kimberlie Millaway, held her hand as she drew her last breath at her home Wednesday morning. Wendy was born January 28th, 1949, in Livingston, AL to Billy and Carolyn Mixon. Her brother, Bruce Mixon, lives in Tallahassee Florida while her sister, Francis MacDonald, passed away in 2004 from multiple sclerosis. She is survived by her son, J. Steven Millaway; her stepdaughters, Kimberlie Millaway and Megan L. Burks; grandchildren, Joshua Burks, Katie Burks, Alexandria Amaral as well as her nephew, Andrew Mixon. Wendy was an avid golfer and loved spending time with her Golfing Gals. A lover of all dogs but most especially her Doxies. Wendy was a volunteer for 30 plus years for Joshua House in Lutz, FL. She loved working with the kids getting them ready for the start of school, making their Halloween costumes and wrapping the presents for Christmas. Those kids meant the world to her.
