About	Ventura County Star Ventura, California Fri, Mar 22, 1963 Lillian Beamish Mrs. Lillian Frances Beamish, 86, of 341 E. Loop Drive, Camarillo, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Beamish came to the county five years ago from Long Beach to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. William (Mary Eloise) Gridley of Camarillo. She had retired after teaching 40 years in public and private schools in Long Beach. Born Jan. 15, 1877, in Charlevoix Mich., The daughter of Joel Milo Eaton and Ellen Jane French Eaton. She graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1893. Mrs. Beamish married John Thomas Beamish, a native of Ontario, Canada, in Charlevoix Michigan on November 3, 1904. He preceded her in death in 1939. Mrs. Beamish was a direct descendant of Sir Thomas Eaton, who came to America on the Mayflower. She was a member of Colonial Dames. Surviving in addition to her daughter is a granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. in Griffin Brothers Funeral Chapel, Camarillo, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Grice officiating. Burial will be in Olivewood Cemetery, Riverside.
