Beloved husband of the late Waivah Clement (nee Wyman); loving father of Constance (Douglas) Brown, Beaverton, OR.; Joan Clement, Savoy, IL., Mary Clement, Chicago, IL., Madeline (William) Belt, Garland, TX., and Gordon (Patricia) Clement, Matteson, IL.; dear brother of Shirley Waters, Matthews, S.C.; cherished grandfather of Zachary (Alice), Catherine (Sean), Margaret, Michael, William Doyle Belt, Donald Belt, and Lacey; fond great grandfather of Bryson McKellar and Andre Belt. Gordon was an Army Veteran, former Executive for Blue Cross & Blue Shield Insurance Company, Tournament Director for The American Contract Bridge Lead from 1939 to 1989, previous Owner of The Washington Park Bridge Club, and admired traveling. The family will receive friends at Hirsch Funeral Home, 3501 W. Lincoln Hwy. (Rt. 30), Matteson, IL, on Saturday, February 2, 2008 from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Cremation rites have been held through Hirsch Lain-Sullivan Crematory.
