About	Kimberly Mae Mitchell Revoir, 51, of Cape Coral, Fla., and formerly of Topinabee, passed away on Sept. 13, 2013, at her home. No memorial services are scheduled at this time. She was born on Aug. 13, 1962, in Alhambra, Calif., to Dick and June Mitchell. She grew up in Charlevoix, graduating from Charlevoix High School in 1980. After attending Central Michigan University, she worked as a legal secretary. She married Greg Revoir in 1984 in Charlevoix. He preceded her in death. Kim moved to Topinabee and worked at Christopher's Restaurant where she met Jack Barnhill. They traveled between Michigan and Florida, eventually settling in Florida where they split time between Tallahassee and Cape Coral. Kim could strike up a conversation with anyone. Despite valiantly battling an illness for nearly 30 years, she loved to talk and laugh with people. She became a kid again every year at Christmas. She loved and was fascinated by all living creatures including a salamander she named George and her dogs Shelby and Murphy. She enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, computer games and wrote beautiful poetry. She is survived by her parents Dick and June Mitchell; partner and loving companion Jack Barnhill; sisters Tamyra (Randy Wells) Mitchell, Chris (Larry) Nunemaker, Jackie Mitchell; auntie Vi (Bill) Sloan, uncle Bob (Kathy) Mitchell; longtime good friend Bill Marlow. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cheboygan County Humane Society or animal shelter of choice.
