About	Rites Saturday For Mrs. Everts CHARLEVOIX---Funeral services for Mrs. Leslie G. Everts, 70, lifelong resident of this community, will be held at the Winchester Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Leona Winegarden officiating. Burial will be in Brookside cemetery. Mrs. Everts died unexpected- ly at her home at 114 W. Lincoln Ave. Wednesday. Born at Barnard Nov. 7, 1896, the former Emily M. Meggison was a graduate of the Charlevoix high school and the Charlevoix County Normal school here and taught in rural schools in the area. In August 1920 she was married to Mr. Everts who preceded her in death in July 1964. She was a member of the First Methodist church, its Isabella Thoburn circle, had been a member of the church board for many years and was a member of the parsonage committee at the time of her death. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and was secretary of the Charlevoix Senior Citizens Group. She is survived by daughter, Mrs. Edward (Donna) Pusey of Alma; two grandchildren; a brother, Albert Meggison of Sidney, Ohio, and two sisters, the Misses Ella and Grace Meggison of Jackson.
