About	Lucy LaCroix of Grand Ledge, Passed away on April 1, 2023. Lucy was born on March 1, 1936 in Charlevoix, MI, the daughter of Wilbur and Wilema (Eascott) Himebauch. She graduated from Charlevoix High School class of 1954. Lucy married the love of her life, Larry LaCroix, in October 1954. She worked many years as food cook for Grand Ledge Public Schools at Sawdon. Lucy was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Arizona, camping with family, Swedish weaving, knitting, quilting and crocheting. Lucy is survived by her son James (Karen Hummel) LaCroix, daughter Lynda (Leon) Esch, grandchildren Jeannie (Caleb Barker) Esch, Corey Esch, Paxton Esch, and Ryan (Renee) Tabor, sister Lucile Maxian, sister-in-law Carroll LaCroix, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Larry LaCroix, brothers Clarence (Lucille) Himebauch and William (Mildred) Himebauch, sisters Florence (Albert) Elliott and Alice Himebauch, and brothers-in-law Joseph Maxian and Tracy Erwin LaCroix. A private graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Eaton Community Palliative Care. The family is being served by the Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel, Grand Ledge.
