About	udy Marie Herriman, 79, of Charlevoix, passed away December 11, 2019 at Boulder Park Terrace in Charlevoix, MI, with grandson Ben and granddaughter Mandy at her side. Judy was born December 10, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Joseph Brun and Elizabeth (Evakich) Brun. Judy graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1959 and then on November 14, 1959 Judy married Nathaniel Herriman at St. Mary Catholic Church in Charlevoix, and they raised their family in Charlevoix. As a very active member of the Church, Judy volunteered by counting money and helping with luncheons. She also volunteered at the Rainbow Shop in Charlevoix. Judy was fond of puzzles, reading, sitting on her patio, and visiting with her kids and grandkids. As well as crocheting afghans for her loving grandchildren. She had a tradition of baking Couka at Christmas with her children and grandchildren that will be missed. Surviving Judy are six children, Joe (Debra) Herriman of Lansing, MI, Sue (Brad) Sweet of East Jordan, MI, Bill (Kristen) Herriman of Charlevoix, MI, Jim (Judy) Herriman of Charlevoix, MI, Mike (Kris) Herriman of Petoskey, MI, and Cindy (Seth) Arnold of Charlevoix, MI. 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, brothers Tom (Karen) Brun, Mike (Donna) Brun, sister Louise Hamlin, brother-in-law Howard (Darlene) Herriman, along with many nieces and nephews. Preceding Judy in death were her parents and husband. A funeral mass will be held Monday, December 16, at 12 Noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will take place Sunday, December 15, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Charlevoix Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Interment will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1005 Bridge St., Charlevoix, MI 49720. Arrangements are in the care of the Charlevoix Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
