About	My dear friend, Dr. Larry E. Harris and I had planned to attend class reunions/get togethers, but he passed away July 12. When I was in KS, Larry took me to Chanute, where he pointed out all the 'points of interest' and relayed stories of the friendships and growing up days of yore. I particularly enjoyed your little museum/library. Larry and I both came from small towns, where neighbors knew one another and reached out in compassion for those in need, in joy and in friendship.
