About	Geoffrey Garratt Sr. passed away peacefully on November 29, 2018. He was born on September 1, 1948 to David and Virginia Garratt in Essex county New Jersey. After moving to Fresno in 1964, he graduated from Clovis High School. He then earned his Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies and his teaching credential from Fresno State, later earning his Administrative Credential and Master’s degree from Fresno Pacific University. He was proud to serve the Central Unified community for 35 years as a teacher at Madison Elementary, Principal at Madison and Teague Elementary, and then as an Assistant Superintendent until he retired in 2005. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Terry, brother David, son Geoff, daughter Annie, and 6 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Arts Pillar through the Foundation for Central Schools, Fresno County 4H Sponsoring Committee, or the North Valley Animal Disaster Group .
