Barry's Blurbs
About me:
June 23rd, 1993.... A day that changed my life forever! That day started like many others but ended with me paralyzed from the chest down. I'm a C-4 quad that just wants to be seen and treated like any other person. I don't want any pity from anyone. Never have, never will. You learn a lot about your "friends" after going through a major change in life like mine. People that you once called a friend, are nowhere to be seen. Not because they don't like "you", but because they don't know how to act around you. I've always told my friends to treat me the same as before... I'm still the same person, I just can't walk anymore. I've got the same sense of humor, same taste in music, movies, food and drinks. Some people find it strange that I can joke about my accident, I don't. If I can feel comfortable talking and joking about it, anyone should be able to. Anyone curious about what happened that day? Feel free to ask don't be shy!
