About Me Thomas Tran is the founder of the Law Office of Tran & Lopez, a law firm based in Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northwood University in Texas and a Juris Doctor degree in 2007 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan, where he received Dean’s List recognition. He is fluent in English and Vietnamese. Thomas focuses his practice in personal injury law. In 1993, prior to attending law school, he opened and managed a chiropractic clinic located in Arlington, Texas, that treated thousands of patients injured in motor vehicle accidents, work-related accidents, and slip and fall incidents. Thomas also focuses his practice in immigration law. He and his family moved to the United States in 1975 at the Fall of Saigon. As a first-generation immigrant from Vietnam, he understands how overwhelming the immigration and visa processes may be. He understands the hard work and sacrifices of many immigrants, including those endured by his parents. With first-hand experience, he is compassionate for the struggles that are faced by immigrants to live and work in America. While attending law school in Michigan, he became a naturalized citizen of the United States, thus he has first-hand experience in the processes of immigration and naturalization as well. After graduating from law school, he returned to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, known to be one of the most ethnically diverse places in America. It is here, where Thomas was raised and where he gained a solid understanding of other cultures and immigrants' h...(read more)
