Just want to give you a quick update about Sunday's activities.
The program for the Dedication for the Centennial Performing Arts Center will begin at 1:30 with school board members talking, some singing from the high school, ribbon cutting and some other things. The Alumni Showcase will start after this and that will probably be around 2:30.
We have several alumni that will be playing solos, singing and dancing. Will you please write a short bio of what you've been doing since you graduated from CHS, and if you are still using your talents in your present day life. This will be used to introduce you at the program. If you can get these to me before Sun. that would be greatly appreciated.
If you want to sing in the vocal group that will be singing the following songs: Friends, Christmas in a Small Town and possibly A Closing Prayer, please meet in the vocal room at 12:30 that day so we can quickly get ourselves all in tune. :) Don't worry--you get to use music.
If you haven't sung for a long time, don't worry--this will be so much fun and bring back so many memories for all involved. Even if you didn't sing in highschool, please consider joining us. The more the merrier. We're thinking this group will close the program.
Centennial has started the Back Pack Program this year ( food that is sent home on the weekends for families that need help) and they are having a soup dinner/desserts from 12-1:45 that day. So come enjoy soup, sing etc. and see h
