About Me | No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tired beyond your strength; but with the trial He will also provide a way out so that you may be able to bear it. 1 Cornth. 10:13 [Shredd'nTheGnar!] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.--Jeremiah 29:11 I Love to read, I LOVE music and song lyrics, I write them down periodically. I love to sing--I sing soprano. I'm Catholic and I'm growing deeper in my faith. I LOVE Benedictine College--I think God truly blessed me in my second home; I have great friends here, along with amazing memories. I will be attending Newman University in Wichita, KS for my Masters in Social Work. I was a cross country runner for 3 years of HS. I still enjoy running and in my 4 years in Atchison I did indeed conquer the hills of Atchison. I love to sing! :) I like meeting new people and pretty much just having fun. =) I am a John Wayne FANATIC. :D I love watching NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles—I am slightly obsessed with NCIS. I'm a sucker for both. I enjoy watching some Nebraska Football(GO BIG RED). I'm a real fan-win or lose my Husker pride is here to stay! I enjoy a good game of bowling & going out to the Volzke’s on a Friday night. I am very much young at heart. I can be daring when I want to be and I am incredibly stubborn.(Its a Medow thing) I am a hardcore romantic. I value love and understand how important and fragile it is. *Love is not a fight, but its something worth fighting for* ♥ I’m waiting for the right guy to come along; I have complete hope that he will show himself someday. I grew up in a small town of 861 people with no stoplights. My roots are there. I am a hard worker, I don’t like to quit, and I don’t like being known as a quitter. I have a knack for a good listening ear & I enjoy giving people advice if they are willing to hear it out. There’s a lot of quirky things about me—guess you’ll have to get to know me to figure them out. In a nut shell though, reading, writing, faith, and music is my whole life...without it, I just wouldn't be me. That and so much more makes up who I am... "Some teams walk a tightrope. Nebraska jumps a motorcycle over a lake full of alligators while on fire." -Brian Bennett, ESPN.com "We won. It was a team win. But I just have to think about it this way: If it was a better team or a team that actually played four quarters, and it was neck-to-neck, it could have cost us the game." — redshirt freshman quarterback Tommy Armstrong on his struggles against Purdue "On the sideline coaching the Huskers was Tom Osborne, a man so focused and wise he makes Yoda look like a special needs student with ADHD." “It’s probably not healthy. I tend to watch Thursday night and Friday night, and four or five games on Saturday. It drives my wife crazy because I flip back and forth, and she does not like to watch football that way. So I watch quite a bit.” - Tom Osborne on the amount of college football he watches When you play for Nebraska, they not only are handing you the football, they handing you the whole state.--Nebraska RB Coach, Ron Brown Ameer Abdullah: "We can either pack it up and say try a...(read more) |
