Life has many different avenues to travel that we are not exposed to when in high school. After attending Mesa Community College, ASU and U of A, I joined the U.S. Navy fearing that I'd be drafted anyway. I served all over the world in various commands and ships as a photojournalist and broadcaster. Retiring after 20 years of service, I became the Deputy Director for Public Affairs at the Military Traffic Management Command in Washington, D.C. During this time I was also serving as a Chaplain in Juvenile Detention Centers, County jails and state prisons. Eleven years later, my family and I moved back to Arizona to pastor our first church in St. David. I've since moved to Dragoon Baptist Church where we have been since 2001. I teach college level classes each semester and enjoy playing golf and riding a four-wheeler on the many paths in the Dragoon Mountains.
