| About | July 14, 1954 - November 8, 2015 God has received another angel. Jody's battle with breast cancer for over four years ended peacefully November 8, 2015. She has joined her mother, Marilyn Larsen, as well as her grandparents, Guy and Marie Larsen, and Arthur and Ingeborg Carlson, in Heaven. Jody is survived by her father, James Larsen, and her husband of almost 38 years, Mark Edwards, her children Jason Edwards (Bethany), Sarah Dunst (Joel), her wonderful grandchildren, Kaylee and Natalie Edwards, and Shadrach and Milo Dunst. She also is survived by her brother, Dennis Larsen (Susan) and Cindy Hanes (Jeff). Jody has one niece, Kristen Takakuwa, and five nephews, Andrew Larsen, Sam Hanes, Benjamin Hanes, Joseph Hanes, and Zachary Hanes. Jody taught 18 years at TUSD, most recently at Miller Elementary School where she taught Special Education. She was the Administrative Secretary to the Southern Arizona Aquatic Association for many years. Both these groups, her family and friends will miss her dearly. The family would like to thank the staff at Arizona Oncology for their efforts throughout the years as well as Peppi's House for their comfort and care. |
| Events | There will be a memorial service at Northminster Presbyterian Church Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 1:00 PM with a reception following. |

To my dear friend, Jody, who I’ve known all my life from grade school to Catalina high school and then some even with her great husband, Mark, who I’ve known from high school as well I wish all her family. My deepest condolences. I just now saw this. I’m sorry it’s late.
Jody was a very very close friend of mine forever. I’ll always remember her in my heart.
