Born 19 Sept 1947 in Casey County, Ky. to the late Virtrees Godbey and Mary Belle Bastin Godbey. She was a retired teacher with 27 yrs. for the Casey County Board of Education. She also, retired from Oakwood of Somerset, Ky. Survivors include two sons Andy(Nikki) Stephens of Liberty. Sean Stephens of Bethelridge. Four grandchildren, Ashley Rodgers, Danielle Barrett, Emilee Spears, and Hadlee Jade Lee. A great-grandchild Lakkin Rodgers. Two brothers, Virtreas McKinley Godbey of Walltown, Ky. and Donald Ray Godbey of Liberty, Ky. A sister Donna Kay Williams of Yosemite. Funeral services are 11:00 A.M. Monday 5 Oct 2015. Visitation is Sunday 4 Oct 2015. Both services to be at: McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, Liberty, Ky. Burial will be at the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. BRO. JOHNNY MAUPIN officiating.
