Relationship Status Married
About Me Moved to San Bruno when my parents bought their first house at 716 Magnolia Ave., on Easter Eve of 1950 (4/8/1950). In the summer of 1958 they bought their 2nd home in San Bruno and we moved to 224 Poplar Ave. In 1976 I bought my 1st house in San Bruno and moved to 130 Poplar Ave. (and plan on living here the rest of my life). My schooling in San Bruno included Old Edgemont K-2, New Edgemont 3-6th, Parkside 7-8th, and Capuchino High School, graduating in '62. I was on Caps 10's basketball teams my Freshman and Sophomore years, the 30's basketball team my Junior year, and the varsity basketball team my Senior year. I was also on the Cap Frosh/Soph baseball team my Freshman year and on the Varsity baseball team my Junior & Senior year. After graduating from Cap in '62 I attended S.F. State College University from 9/62-6/69. After college I started working for the CA School for the Deaf in Beserkely, CA from 9/69-6/72. I then applied and went through Grayline Bus Sightseeing Company bus training Program and was hired as a Grayline tour bus driver/lecturer, and worked there from 7/72 through 5/1980. I then started driving tour buses for Express Tours of San Francisco and also driving limousines for Associated Limo Services from 1980-1988. After a bus accident caused by the mechanics who forgot to put a cotter pin behind the nut that holds the steering mechanism together on the bus I quit driving buses and limos for a living. In 1988 I had an emergency brain surgery to remove an abcess the size of a lemon. I was fortunate to have survived, the doctors told my wife to call in my family to say their final goodbyes, but I some how regained consciousness and have been healthy ever since (I did have 3 Grand Mall Seizures the first few months after the brain surgery and survived them also). I then started looking for other jobs and at one point had 7 different sales rep jobs at one time (my sales territory included everything from Monterey, CA to the Canadian border along Highway 1, 101 & 95). Eventually, I gave up all the sales jobs and my Seattle, WA cousin, Johnny Balko, and I created and developed a charity to help locate and prevent missing children and missing adults. Our charity, the "3-Children" Organization, went into partnership with another help find missing children charity called the FOCUS Organization (Finding Our Children Under Stress Organization, which was created and developed by the Mother's of three missing adult children, JoAnn Rock and Susan Wilmer were the two who did the paperwork and submitted it to the IRS to become a Certified 501(C)(3) tax-exempt charity. My cousin and my "3-Children" Organization became the Program Development Division of the FOCUS Organizaiton and together we became known as the FOCUS/"3-Children" Organization. I was named the Chief Officer of the 501(C)(3) charity in 1998 and remain so currently and for the remainder of my life. I now have in my family, my wife (our 54th Anniversary will be on 3/21/24) and we have three children, a son and two daughters; plus, now we have five Grandchildren (three Grandsons, Patrick age 16, John Terry [J.T.] age 13, and Chase age 11). The remainder of my life is devoted to my family and to the missing children and missi...(read more)
