About	My momma, Darlene Ruth (McCampbell) Boyd, passed away two weeks ago. She graduated from Capitol Hill either in 1950 or 1951. (I can't remember for sure.) She and my daddy, George Russell Boyd, went to many, many class reunions over the years. I am sure there are still some class members that will remember her. She always had fond memories of her high school years and enjoyed the reunions. I don't remember the last one she attended, but I know she went to her 50th school reunion. Momma was diagnosed with gastric cancer in November 2013, and had surgery to remove most of her stomach. Although she remained cancer-free (almost unheard of) until the day she died, she was never able to eat enough to get the nutrition she needed to survive. She had surgery on 1/31/15 to have a j-tube put in, but did not recover from the surgery. She went to her home in Heaven on 2/18/15, and she will be dearly missed. I am putting this out there for anyone that might still be in the OKC area or that visits this site, that might remember her. Prayers for the family would be appreciated. She and Daddy were married for 63 years on 2/13/15, right before her death. That is almost unheard of in this day and time. Thank you!
