About	Tod Michael Sims, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away January 20, 2003 at the age of 38. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wanda Gates and Irene and Wendell Sims. He is survived by his parents, Rodney and Tina Sims; his siblings, Tami Chavez, Troy Sims and Tiffany Clements; his nephews and niece, Nicholas Penta, Autumn, Zachery and Garrett Chavez, Aubrey and Tyler Clements; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tod is also survived by his girlfriend, Joy Alvo. Tod was born August 15, 1964 in Tucson, AZ. He graduated from Canyon Del Oro High School in 1982. Tod was an Eagle Scout in troop 211 and an avid wrestler making the varsity team in his freshman year. He was awarded a scholarship to Pima Community College for his wrestling abilities. Tod also attended the University of Arizona. He enjoyed photography, music and drawing. He had a love of building and architecture as he worked in construction and electrical fields. Tod was a fun-loving person with more charm and charisma than anyone should be allowed to have. He will be missed greatly by all who loved him. Visitation will be held at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, 3015 N. Oracle Rd., on Friday, January 24, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Because of Tod's personalty and love of bright colors, please wear colorful clothing to honor his memory. In addition, please bring a written memory of time spent with Tod.
