POSTPONED: In light of the recent surge in Covid cases, the Reunion Committee has decided to postpone our 50th class reunion scheduled for October 2, 2021. We are sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this may create but feel it is in everyone’s best interests to postpone the reunion at the present time. It is felt that we will all have more fun and less health concerns when the pandemic is behind us. We will let you know of future plans for the reunion via email and social media posts and look forward to seeing everyone in the future.

Hello Classmates. We just wanted to let everyone know that our 50th year class reunion is still scheduled for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2021 -- so MARK YOUR CALENDAR. The cost will be $50 per person and will include dinner, a DJ and music, dancing, a slideshow, socializing, reminiscing, etc. A cash bar will be provided. As it will be 50 YEARS since graduation, we want to make the evening fun, enjoyable, memorable, and our BEST Reunion ever.
We plan to post an official INVITATION with ALL details VIA SOCIAL MEDIA (Facebook, etc.) in June and will also email the invitation to those classmates for whom we have email addresses.
Please forward this notice to any classmates you keep in touch with and feel free to post it to your Facebook page.
As the last reunion was 10 years ago, please send your current email address (and cell phone number) to Helene Czarnecki-Schaukowitch at helenecz@aol.com so that an invitation can be personally emailed to you.
We know that Covid-19 restrictions are still in effect but hopefully by October restrictions will be reduced/lifted.
FYI: We have reserved a block of hotel rooms for Saturday night (and also some for Friday night) at two hotels: (i) the Hyatt Place Pittsburgh South (connected to the Meadows Casino) with a room rate of $169 per night plus taxes and (ii) the Doubletree Pittsburgh Meadow Lands (a shuttle is available) with a room rate of $129 per night plus taxes. Further details will be provided in the invitation.
