| About Me | From the first time Erik AKA E-ROK felt the vibe of electronic music he was in love. The entire idea of PLUR had taken over his life and he was a changed person. In the late 1990’s is when he got his first taste of the electronic music movement and he knew exactly what he wanted to do indefinitely. E-ROK grew up in a small town in Wyoming, USA and went to College. This is where his life changed forever. Within six months of purchasing his first piece of wax. He started playing at house parties and Underground events in the local Area. He got his first residency at a local underground club and expanded to playing in Colorado. From there he moved several time playing at every event he had the opportunity in Chicago, Houston, Salt Lake City. His music was highly influenced by Richard (Humpty) Vission, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Irene among so many others. In 2008 he took a break from his work to care for his family. In 2014 his calling was to strong and returned to the music and the scene which he loved ever so much. In Las Vegas he became good friend with many prominent underground DJs and Producers. At His first show in 5 years he landed a residency at a Las Vegas known underground venue the Hard Hat. He has played events for Elusive, Syndicate, Zero Point, Siegel Group, along with so many other warehouse and Private Events. This is where Nuphonic Rhythm recognized him and inducted him into their ranks. He is now influenced by a new sound sweeping the nation. Heavy bass notes and square waves resonate through is music in way he describes as “These tracks will make you pull faces!” Since his induction he has been changing his sound and constantly learning new mixing and production techniques to satisfy his inner need to create the perfect mix.
