About	David Wayne Ash, 49, of Selma, Ala., passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011. He was born August 4, 1961, the son of Gene Ash and Judy (Rohrbach) Ash, whom survive of California. David was a 1979 graduate of California High School. He was united in marriage April 14, 1993, in Greenfield, Ohio, to Barbara Maynard, who survives of the home. He was a member of the Crosspoint Christian Church in Selma, Ala. He currently worked as a operations manager for Lear Corporation. David was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include: one daughter, Amber Hollis and husband Michael of Brighton, Mich.; two grandchildren, Trevor and Lauren Hollis; and one brother, Doug Ash and wife Rita of California. He was preceded in death by one brother, Daryl Ash. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bowlin- Cantriel Funeral Home Chapel in California. Burial will be at Evangelical Cemetery in California. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Maynard assisted by Rev. Collette Jones. Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2011 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at Bowlin Cantriel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The First Tee, 425 S. Legacy Trail, St. Augustine, FL 32092; or Cahaba Hospice, 410 Church Street, Selma, AL 36701. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
