About	STRACK, Edward Thomas—September 1946 – October 2012. It is with profound grief and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father. Ed was born in Vancouver to parents Maynard Edward Strack (deceased) and Gladys Ivy Banfield. Ed was well known and loved for his compassionate and carrying ways. Predeceased by his sister Jane, Ed is survived by his wife Heather, daughters Holly (John), Tammie (Duncan), Keleah (Joe) and grandchildren – Amber, Jessie, Brad, James, Anwyn and great granddaughter Sierra, sister – Betty Bannochie, brother – Fred Strack and all his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be either be made to the Heart Association, Renal Dialysis or Canadian Diabetes in Ed's memory as he fought a courageous battle until the end. A Celebration of Ed's Life will be held at The Lexington Amenity Building – 16995 64 Avenue, Surrey, 4 - 7 PM on Sunday November 11. Published in the Vancouver Sun on 2012/11/05
